Design of illustrations and signage for the main beer bar at the food hall Nicolinehus in Aarhus. The illustrations depict various scenes from Carlsberg’s history and can be arranged as modular pieces to create an engaging graphic element.
The illustrations serve as decorative engravings on the bar’s draft beer taps and as a graphic element in the bar’s signage. The collage-like scenes are inspired by Carlsberg’s rich history and are put together to form an atmospheric artwork in a simple and precise line.
A custom-designed signage system consisting of a printed plywood back panel and a range of smaller signboards for handwriting that can be manually mounted. The two layers offer flexibility and maintain an attractive appearance, even when the beer selection is limited.
