Theodora House

Rama Studio has designed a series of decorative graphic facade panels for the residential building Theodora Hus at Carlsbergbyen. The building is designed by ADEPT Architects and is located on the site where Carlsberg's yeast cultivation cellar used to be. The laser-cut aluminum panels adds a historic layer to the building that refers to the brewery's history. The transparency and the changing light situations on both sides of the panels, brings the illustrations to life with a wide range of expressions. The yeast cellar was the heart of the brewery — now the facade panels gives the residents and passers-by a glimpse of the various jobs and technical processes that once took place in this important workplace.
